It has been announced in the last hour that Parliament prorogues at the close of business today. With all the talk of political gridlock, to shut down Parliament today must mean Boris Johnson has a plan.
In the last few weeks, essentially since Boris Johnson became Prime Minister, politics in the UK has never moved so fast…. That fast in fact that by the time I’ve typed this article, it will likely be out of date.
At the second time of trying, former mayor of London Boris Johnson has finally become the Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Labour are celebrating victory in the Peterborough By-Election, seeing off the Brexit Party by 683 votes. There should be a second by-election, obviously.
